NEW 2010-2011 USAGE DISCOVERY OF A CENTURIES OLD FRUIT

Discover the Slimming Magic of Pure African Mango

An extract derived from a West African fruit may help overweight people shed pounds and inches of belly fat, while lowering their cholesterol, a new study suggests.

The extract comes from Irvingia gabonensis, also known as African mango, a fruit commonly eaten in West Africa. Lab research has shown that extracts from the plant's seed may inhibit bodyfat production, through effects on certain genes and enzymes that regulate metabolism.

For the current study, researchers at the University of Yaounde in Cameroon randomly assigned 102 overweight adults to take either the plant extract or a placebo twice a day for 30 days. The study participants did not follow any special diet and were told to maintain their normal exercise levels.

After just 30 days, the extract group had lost a significant amount of weight -- an average of 12.3 pounds -- while the placebo group showed almost no change. Test subjects also lost 833% more total bodyfat, including significant amounts of dangerous belly fat.

African Mango only recently became popular in America when on September 13, 2010; Dr. Mehmet Oz, M.D. (Dr. Oz) hailed it as a safe, natural, and effective weight-loss treatment on his nationally syndicated daytime television show. This miracle fruit is a rare mango fruit harvested in the rainforests of Cameroon, Africa. In western and central Africa, it is more commonly known as the bush mango or the wild mango tree which is highly prized for its dika nuts and yellow edible fruits for more than 2 centuries. Currently, the African Mango tree is now being recognized for its seed extracts due to its nutritional value and medical benefits which help improve a person's overall health condition. Irvingia contains a high volume of fiber and is high in healthy fats just like most seeds and nuts.

Studies have shown that one can lose weight fast with African Mango but when combined with Cissus, the results are even better. Abdominal fat is also reduced. African Mango and Cissus also help lower bad cholesterol and triglycerides and promote an increase in HDL or good cholesterol.
